I think this song is meent to open your eye's people are stairing them self blind on the bible. there just doing as told. no self input at all. i think you sould intrepid the bible so it fits your life best.

i see your point.. and I agree. And in saying that, I aslo agree with what Cocorosie are singing of. Christians are still human, and therefore are still sinful and capable of all sorts of qualities and flaws, both really good and horribly bad.. but it doesn't change the character of God... There's this generalization that all or most christians feel superior to non christians, but its not true, in most cases... and I feel horrible as a christian that this is thought of.

I don't think the song is about your god. It is more about the people who come with the religion and what they have made your god in to. Granted, that is a heavy generalization because not every Christian is obnoxiously preachy. However, there are many in the world with the very mindset that CocoRosie describes. And that, in my opinion, is one very distinct reason as to why this world is so corrupt.
