Look friend, I think you need to do the slightest bit of research on who is being held in Guantanamo. Most were turned in by their neighbors for a bounty with NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. Some have already been released, in other words, just because Rumsfeld said these are the worst of the worst does not mean it is true. This sort of action has eroded the moral high ground we ever pretended to occupy. It also guarantees the sort of treatment our own people will receive, military or not.

American Values? These poeple know nothing of them. This guy wants to double the size of Gitmo. Currently "American" values seem only to include torture, illegal war, unlawful imprisonment, slavery and kidnapping (look up Iraq Embassy), outright lying (Karl Rove ADMITS to dirty tricks), hypocrisy (Newt Gingrich was plooking an intern while prosecuting it), unlawfully surveilling its own citizens, and extreme religious fundamentalism. Republican values maybe, not American values, thank you.

Don't apologize, just cause i'm a veteran does not mean i couldn't be a dumbass. I served with plenty of them. I had a roommate who only took showers on the weekend, and slept with chewing tobacco in his mouth. One of the guys in my unit went AWOL to marry a 16 year old girl, only to find out later that she was pregnant with someone else's baby.
Mitts sons don't have to serve if they don't want to. Army ain't for everybody. It is just an indication of the veracity of his Pro-war stance.

i probably am a dumb ass, i actually joined the army when i was 17, took me a month to talk my mother into it. If you support the war, join up, they could use the help. Mitt is a chickenhawk, and so are his sons.
