If your a Liberal such as myself or a Classic or Conservative Libertarian you believe in "Maximize Individual Freedom and Responsibility for the Individual that people have the right to live their lives as they see fit as long as their not hurting anyone with their Freedom.

If your a Socialist Democrat or a Modern Conservative you believe in "Big Government" but for different reasons. Socialist Democrats believe in the Welfare State and Conservatives believe in limited Social Freedom.

when a person is born its a slave to society. we only know what were taught/told from school or the media or the web. for example you get a dog and teach it to sit then a year later you tell that same dog to lay down.. it will have no clue how to respond because its limited to the information it already knows witch is to "sit".. the same way that dog is limited to the truth and facts we are as well........

and instead of expanding government, sweden has been cutting more government spending and trying to revert to its more free market form. while at the same time slowly dismantling their welfare system.

@luizcadu scandinavia is reducing the amount of government they currently have. ever heard of the collapse of the 1990s? sweden is the main example they developed the so called big government or welfare system in the 70s but with inherited wealth. the result was the creation of a bubble and after it burst unemployment skyrocketed and large welfare payments were being issued. the result was inflation with a 500% interest to protect the currency.
