In many processes, the ability to complete specific and precise product testing (lead testing in this case) is critical to quality. Rigid ISO TS standards require traceability of components, dates, equipment used, etc. In this flexible test stand, products are inserted into a custom fixture, pressurized, tested and then permanently marked with the necessary traceability data prior to moving to the next level of assembly. This particular station can be highly flexible and changed to run tests on different parts by simply removing the custom tool plate on top of the table and installing a new fixture for the new part. An entire tool change and set-up is a few minute process.
