This video shows you some of the things that Action Replay can do. There are many other things that you can do to Animal Crossing with AR aside from what is shown in this video.

You have to search around for one. Datel doesn't make AR's for Gamecube anymore so they're becoming increasingly rare. I would recommend that you check sites that sell used things, such as Amazon or eBay.

Do you have to have ar to have the island on the gamecube?

No, you don't. You need to have a gameboy and gameboy/gamecube connection cable. While the gameboy is hooked up to the gamecube you can go to a certain acre and get a ride. But if you have an AR you can get there without a gameboy.

I have the animal crossing game but I let a friend use it about 2 weeks ago I do not think I will get the game back, but I do have a game boy, not a connection cable. My brother owes me about 30 dollors and a new ds. So I might can get one.
