This is me playing Al Petteway's evocative and beautiful Sligo Creek, in DADGAD. Comments/Praise/Constructive critisism welcome!

  • Sounds sweet. How was the song written out in the book you bought? I can't read sheet and have been looking for a tab. Might just be stuck figuring it our from your and other videos, thanks!

  • In the book I have it is musical notation and tab so it's easy to read - I recommend the book - it's got some other great tunes in it too.

  • Beautiful!

I hope I applauded loud enough for you to hear it!!

  • You didn't, but the kind comment will suffice, thank you!

  • Very well done

  • Good job by the way!

  • I just posted a tab of this song on ultimate-guitar

  • love the way you play the song .i love it !!!!

  • Nicely done. Your version is just a tad different than the Al Petteway version used on Ken Burns national parks documentary. I wish the full version of that was available on YouTube.

  • Great Version! I'm a HUGE Petteway fan as well.

  • I'm also a guitarist but haven't gone into DADGAD tuning at all, although many friends are into it. It sounds like a fun exploration. It never fails to impress me how much better built-in mics on camcorders are these days. they used to be pretty bad. My studio is in Moorhead, Minnesota. Probably a long drive for you. Keep up the great work! Cheers!

  • I got it on amazon.
