Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx 3D Desktop

The purpose of this video is to show how good Ubuntu 10.04 looks like without installing any aditional software, this is out of the box experience. Also, I wanted to show you how good (performance wise) compiz has become, no more hicups or slowdowns. Ubuntu Lucid boots in just 9 seconds on my current PC, a record by itself.

how did you do that flipping desktop thingy? ubuntu is fast in your system. what are your specs? when i open firefox on my ubuntu, it takes around 10 - 15 secs before i get a webpage display.

Hi! The vid and music rocks. Want to find the song, did as the comments led me to believe and went to your YouTube channel page. I corrected the link and got to some site with loads of links to game demos. I don't know which one to get and found no zip-packages. Please help. Especially this song and if there's more, I'm all ears! :)

@Chertograad Yep, you did right, you have to download those demos in fact. Once you're done, you will find the music inside the zip files.

@TecnoGaming Wanna tell me the specific filename? I mean I downloaded almost every one of those and found the one you use on the other ubuntu compiz vid: "[aMUSiC] Aural Destination.ogg" . How about this one? It'd be easier to search with a file extractor if I could just see check the filename...
