I think the idiot who displayed the "Hanging of a public official who is running mate for Vice-President should be in prison this very second. This is a clear display of a threat to harm or plan the assination of a public official. Had it been a rope around Obamas neck, that person would have been arrested immediately. I've noticed that also. People are getting pissed and it's not helping relations. And you have to fault the ones in charge for allowing all this to happen. They will try to make it a hate-crime issue in Kentucky. But they will have to prove that the Obama effigy hanging was done because Obama is black. I believe those guys in Kentucky may have been trying to prove a point. And that may help everyone.

I've tried to contact ACORN so I could vote multiple times for McCain. Only Obama supporters can do that. This double standard on effigy hanging is going to hurt blacks in the long run. Our government needs to take note.

Just the site of a noose in the year 2008 should be a crime. It is a reminder of dark times in our country's history. The black community should be outraged as well. If I were in the Obama camp I would issue a statement saying that they don't support this and urge these two " whatevers " to take it down. If the Obama camp turns a blind eye to this then they are just as bad as these two " whatevers . "
