  • Simply one of the greatest arrangements the Jazz world has ever seen. Art Blakey lays down a shuffle unlike none other, Wayne Shorter builds it up until you can't stand it anymore..  and then Lee Morgan blows the roof off just after the 3:00 minute mark. I heard this version in 1999 (I remember the place, sitting in the Berklee College library with headphones on and jumping out of my seat), and keep coming back time after time. Youtube, what would we do without you?
