Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell - Ashford & Simpson (1967)- hit from album 'United' without music.

Listen Baby
Ain't no mountain high
Ain't no valley low
Ain't no river wide enough
If you need me call me
No matter where you are
No matter how far
Don't worry baby
Just call my name
I'll be there in a hurry
You don't have to worry

Cause baby There
Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you baby

Remember that day
I set you free
I Told you you could always count on me darlin
From that day on I made a vow
I'll be there when you want me,
Someway somehow

cause baby there
Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you

oh no darling
No wind, no rain
All winter's cold can't stop me baby
No, no, baby
Cause you're are my goal.

If you're ever in trouble
I'll be there on the double
Just send for me yeah, oh baby

My love is alive
Way down in my heart
Although we are miles apart

If you ever need a helping hand
I'll be there there on the double
Just As fast as I can

Don't you know that there

Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you
Don't you know that there
Ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
Ain't no mountain high enough

  • This isn't A capella. This is actual studio recording of them in Motown records. You can hear a light background beat coming from the headphones. If this was A capella than you would be hearing the background voices and everything. This is actual studio recording. Still awesome to hear though.

  • @DanielSchmidt94521 you're right, but this "sounds like" a capella ! ;)

  • Fuck, I´m white, I´m young and I still get chills listeniong to the old Motown stuff. Motown is the definition of magic in music, period point blank.

  • Amazing. These two were fantastic together. Oh the days when singers could - you know - sing. Wow. Thanks for posting.

  • Dang this was a beautiful song even without the music! Music just made more beautiful! RIP Nick Asford! My prayers go out to Val and their 2 daughters and the entire Simpson & Motown family! Nick will surely be missed! Praying for you Val and their 2 daughters!

  • They sing as good as I do..

  • She has to be standing on something, right?! Reminds me of my bad habit of,when being photographed, stooping sideways and jamming my head in next to other people's, from decades of having my photo taken when lenses didn't get as much of the view in them as they do now - looks damn funny now the photo includes more than just the heads!

  • It would be wonderful if his and all Motown artist and other highly gifted artist work was in three versions; Full mix, accappella, and instrumental in perfect sound. This is incredible to be able to enjoy your favorite artist and songs like this. This is simply incredible! Thank you so much.

  • Damn just enjoy. Do we have to be technical. All I hear is Marvin and Tammi
