Cafe Clock in Fes, Morocco: Concert with Issawa trumpets (traditional Moroccan music) - March 2009

"Cafe Clock" in Fes, Morrocco, is a really cool new venue, run by Mike Richardson, who was the former maitre d' at the famed celebrity-restaurant "The Ivy" in London (amongst other things).

This video was taken when we visited the "Cafe Clock" already for the second time. At this evening, a group of traditional Moroccon musicians, the "Derb Magana Boys", gave a smashing performance. Look at those 6-foot trumpets!

At our first visit, we almost bumped into U2, who were just shooting a video in Fes and had booked a table in the "Cafe Clock", but cancelled in the last minute.

If you are lucky enough to visit the "Cafe Clock", try the camel-burgers, they are already legendary...
