Australian State of Mind-Danielle Matthews

I came up with this in under an hour- It was the result of pent up anger I have at this country and Australian Politics as a whole!
No one has the balls to stand up for what's important any more.
Politicians are increasingly telling us what they think we "want" to hear rather than what they actually "believe"

I shared your video on my Face Book page here in the U.S. The response has been so wonderful and positive! One of my friends from Australia responded and I wanted to share it with you.

What can I say? She pinned it well, especially Bob Brown for PM. Both candidates from the 'normal' party don't care about the plight of homosexuals, refugees from war-torn countries. Boat people, ha, all Anglo-Saxon Australians are boat people!

What can I say, this is really well done, I'm impressed, you sure know how to put your thoughts and feeling out there to others and tell them how you feel without beating around the bush so to speak. Perhaps I shouldn't say this, but I reckon you could do a pretty good rendition of You've Got The Love, I realise that's off topic, but I just thought I should put that out. This song actually reminds me of Not Ready To Make Nice.

I thought I would share a video that my beautiful and talent friend Danielle Matthews who decided to share her thoughts on the election with her beautiful voice.

It is just really interesting with the build up to the election when there is talk of people wanting to do donkey votes and no one really cares, "you're the voice, try and understand it".

Even Catholic countries in Europe are allowing gay marriage now, yet Australia, young, vibrant, and independent, panders to a geriatric, xenophobic, racist and bible bashing minority.

As for the political content, we get the pollies we deserve. We slap them when they disagree with us, then slap them again when they are just saying what we want to hear. They lose either way. And so do we.
