@skatelongboards Mitt Romney invented the part that forces people to pay for it, that's why Republicans are calling it Obamycare. Newt Gingrich backed up the mandate. Personally I think people will understand it's importance when it lowers the private sector healthcare corporations cost of operations. They've been screwing people for years. I think we should have gone with the public option anyway, or single payer. They're fine with higher taxes, trust me.

@villevs he defended the usa by attacking Afghanistan, which was the right thing to do in my book since they were harboring the people that did 9/1. Than he decided to go to iraq which was wrong and he should never of done that. But the reason they attacked us is cause were over their in there holy land with our military bases. Sure mulsims will always hate us for not being Muslim but were just adding fuel to the fire by being over there.

@DesignPunkStudios well if it works great in France then good for them but i like to look at everything constitutionally and i think national healthcare and that all that is illegal-national level that is. aslong as you dont force anybody to buy it than if a state wants state healthcare im fine with it. But those residents better live with the higher taxes cause you cant get a bunch of perks like free healthcare and college and not expect to pay higher taxes. its a 10th amendment issue :P

@skatelongboards Actually the 111th congress (the last Dem controlled one) was a record breaking lame duck congress that passed clean air laws, repealed DADT, ended combat operations in Iraq and more. You can't pin them on not getting anything done lol. We have the lowest taxes of any industrialized nation and it shows in how much we pay for healthcare and college in the private sector. In France your taxes get you a college education, quality healthcare, job training and more.

@DesignPunkStudios just because they now have control in the house doesn't mean they control Washington. it makes things harder for democrats yeah but the democrats could of passed a whole bunch of things before the republicans took control.

Btw low Taxes are not all that bad what we need to do is get rid of subsidies. Let companies keep there earnings but quit taking tax money from us middle class and poorer folk and giving it to corporations, thats called subsidizing and is wrong.
