It's worth remembering high guard or rubber guard is as much to do with positioning as anything else. I'm fairly flexible but I prefer to move my hips slightly so I don't torque my knee any more then necessary.
Drysdale touches briefly on posture breaking in his rubber guard series but also the importance of controlling the head with your hands almost in a clinch until that high guard is in place.
If I close my eyes and listen...I can picture a puppet frog coaching me the best tips I have ever heard

i guess it's a posture break but i'd rather be in the closed guard then the high guard kinda stupid
