I can't find this movie anywhere online, would you say that this film is good enough that I can buy it without watching it first and I would probably like it?

@kggjlrins The movie is much grittier and more violent than this vid would suggest. In fact, my vid only focuses on a secondary romantic subplot, rather than the central character played by Stephen Rea. Although violent, the film also includes lots of quirky humour and is well acted. It also gives an interesting glimpse into the subculture of "travellers" in rural Ireland. If you're dubious, you can probably find an inexpensive used copy of the DVD.

Great choice of song for that vid! When paired with the "Trojan Eddie" clips, it really helps tell a story. And, of course, excellent job of editing as usual. :-) After watching your vid, I'm intrigued by the source material!

Hi, Rusty!
Thanks for the feedback. Nick Lowe's one of my favourite songwriters, and I felt this song would fit well with the storyline in Trojan Eddie. And you're very welcome to borrow the DVD anytime. It's a quirky film, much grittier than the usual RomCom.
