Hanyuu's case of invisibility sounds like an old Japanese story of a man that turned invisible after being spat on by some roving oni and the only thing that saved him was sitting near a priest that was chanting the Lotus Sutra. Too bad for Hanyuu there are no Buddhists in anime, only Shinto.
