@canbuyu No! Index is the main finger for "popping" so feel free to use it.

i understand "slap pop" technique a little more clearly now i suppose, whats typical in it, typicla rythms ect.? also is it like the lower string is the rythem and the g or d is like the lead parts in applying copensation principals? i like copensation especially in falmingo picking and the slow stuff is good to incorporate those techniques too plz get back to meh

Yes you got it right. There are many slap rhythms/patterns. You can check out my lessons at GMC to see some more examples. Generally lower strings that are thumped are for emulating the kick drum sound and upper strings are for plucking (pop) to emulate the sound of a snare drum. But you often play on all the strings so there are no exact rules...
