People who talk shit about the new york dolls do it because they weren't there. Rock n' Roll was dying from boredom, then they came and inspired the masses to be loud, dirty, and sexy.

David had such a big voice and Johnny could totally tear it up on the guitar. These guys were way ahead of their time, which is why they were never extremely popular.
