I'm the Nervous Nellie type, myself, but it's not too bad if you get the sample drawn from the crook of the arm. Especially if the nurse or phlebotomist prepares you ahead of time. The worst place to get a blood draw, I think, is from the back of the hand. The hand is a really, really sensitive body part. :(
