@Zirobo you can't judge people based on what they'd say under torture. i think many would surprise themselves at what they would be willing to say. severe torture to extract names and a false incriminating statement has been used with great success throughout history. this is why it was used here. because they knew it would be effective.

Yeah. That's sadly how it works in some cases; look at Germany and the youth that were being taught nothing but lies. North Korea as well. It's really horrible. I really was sad when I learned that the Khmer Rouge was teaching children to disassociate themselves from their own family and that their only family was the KR.

Gurds or prisoners.. they are all victims - Guards' chance are much higher to survive. I visited S21 back in 2003. It's hard to look into those profile pictures of the victims
