A 2 1/4 in long section of 3/4 inch copper pipe with two end caps + two pieces of 1/4 inch copper tubing = putt putt boat.

The first successful test, i just need a stable heat source, I'm thinking about dissecting a butane lighter.

  • I think I used 3/4" copper for the boiler and I found some copper tube used for refrigerators at home depot.

  • did you braze it or solder

  • Solder. I really should have heated it a lot more (which is why it looks ugly) but I didn't want the heat to transfer and screw up the other solder joints.
