Undocumented students from around the country gathered at Busboys and Poets this past week in Washington, D.C. to share their stories.

What is it like to grow up without papers in America?

Immigration is a cornerstone of American culture and history, yet also a topic of heated debate across the nation. Thousands of young people have been raised as Americans as this debate rages on without real solutions, and instead, a raise in raids and deportations.

As Congress gets closer to taking a vote on the 2010 DREAM Act, undocumented young people will share stories of their experiences, struggles, and what it takes to organize a campaign when one must bear the constrains of lack of documents and fear of immigration enforcers.
