What was the problem? Too much wadding or none and the chute melted? It should have worked, it looks like a packing error.

It's all in the details. I almost lost one because the altimeter drogue deploy was hooked up to the main! Good thing the wind was light.

i had that happen to one of my blackbird rockets someone put a booster engine in it instead of a c6-7

I have a second one to build and will be able to repair that one. Given you are decent at recovery it is a great rocket and only going 600 ft makes it pretty easy to follow

It is awesome. I just picked up one for a couple of bucks in a thrift shop, still un-assembled. I'm planning on either a 29mm or 38mm motor mount for it. Wonder how it would do with an I or J motor?

If u got it cheap way to go. Making it an I or J motor will probably make it go twice as high. If u do it let me know and upload it
