Homicidal is a 1961 thriller film produced and directed by the self-proclaimed "King of Showmanship", William Castle. Written by Robb White, the film stars Glenn Corbett, Patricia Breslin, Eugenie Leontovich, Alan Bunce, Richard Rust, and the enigmatic Joan Marshall (billed as Jean Arless). It was released with a "fright break" that allowed patrons to receive a refund if they were too scared to stay for the climax of the film.

  • 2:12 let 'em pay their .70 cents ! lol

  • I like Castle at the and of this trailer; he reminds me of that Russ Meyer trailer that threatens to nail critics' tongues to the floor.

  • Fun movie to watch, I've watched it dozens of times!

Other great horror classics are "The Haunting", "Nightmare Castle" and "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte"...

  • @moonchildiva after being in comanche station underworld usa the untouchables bonanza the rat patrol he dropped out to be an artist and died of a heart attack

  • Be sure to tune in on Saturday 10/30/10 on TCM at 3pm Eastern, Homicidal.

  • Jean Arless made other movies under another name and eventually married director Hal Ashby. She appears in Shampoo as a customer in Beatty's shop.

  • what was the ending o.o?

  • Jean Arless (who is so amazing in this low budget thriller) played Lily Munster in the original TV pilot of "The Munsters". As is well known, when the show made it to the CBS lineup, Yvonne DeCarlo had the role. Thanks for posting this fascinating footage with us....producer/director William Castle certainly knew how to give his audiences the "thrills & chills" that kept on the edge of the seat! :)
