Qingdao was recently named as China's 7th most liveable city. It's name means 'The blue/green Island' and is regarded by some Chinese as one of the most beautiful and clean cities in China. Qingdao has a population of around 3.5 million (8 million regional) it is the largest city in Shandong Province.
