From the Showtime series Dexter, the piece entitled "Blood Theme" composed by Daniel Licht, used at the end of each episode during the credits.

For me it's just subtle enough in its composition to be both quietly unsettling and beautiful. The violin melody, although simple, is very distinctive, and I've had it humming in my mind many times after watching an episode in which it's used.
