This is a short clip from the movie called "The Message" directed by Moustapha Akkad in 1976, and was nominated for an Oscar in 1978.

The movie is based on the life of Prophet Muhammad (sw). This clip focusses on the time when muslims were fleeing to Abyssynia to be saved from further persecution at the hands of the Meccans. Abyssinia at that time was ruled by a Christian king famous for his mercy and equity, King Negus. A delegation of the Quraish (Meccan tribe) went to meet King Negus- here is what happened.

I love this part of the film. Before Muslims were welcome in Arabia,they were welcome in Abbysinia. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) told his followers to go to Abbyssinia,"where there is a righteous king". The prophet never met this king,yet he knew he would welcome his people. These events gave rise to my country,Somalia,a 100% Muslim country.The fact that Islam came to Somalia so early is the reason why Somalia is one of the few muslim countries with no sects,just 100% sunni Islam.

@nauman1987 Abbysinian Empire was the whole East AFrica, including your Ethiopia, my Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea. Abbysinia also conquered Yemen and some parts of Saudi Arabia. Somalia, Djibouti are 100% and Ethiopia is about 60% and Eritrea 70% Muslims.

Muhammad claimed in sura 25:53 that streams of sweet and salty water in the sea do not mix and remain separated, because allah has set a barrier between them.

science says that there are streams of sweet water at the bottom of oceans and seas, but they get mixed and become salty as soon as they come in contact with ocean or sea water. they can not remain separated as claimed by muhammad in koran. who would you believe?

Muhammad claimed in sura 21:32 that heaven is standing as a roof over earth without pillars and god is preserving it from collapsing on earth.

science says that there is nothing in the sky but empty space over earth.

All this claim of heaven standing over earth without pillars was nothing more the figment of muhammad’s imagination to fool, scare and abuse the illetrate masses of Beduins.

Muhammad claimed in sura 21:31 that allah placed mountains on earth to stabilize the earth and stop it from shaking.

science says that mountains are caused by the collision of tectonic plates in the earth’s crest. When the tectonic plates collide the area at the juncture of the plates is raised forming mountains or range of mountains. Who would you believe?
