The Hackney Transients Art Project interview with Hackney resident Kaday Rose Kamara, March 2009

The Hackney Transients Art Project (htap) exists to explore and celebrate the nature of transience and its impact on the character of Hackney, and to support and nurture the burgeoning current of creativity in this London borough. It brings together video interviews with residents, and new works by artists, produced in response to these stories. The videos will be presented alongside the artworks in an exhibition of diverse forms and genres. While each artwork in htap explores the theme of transience differently, together they present a rich portrait of the people, places and practices distinguishing this community.
