This is a public service announcement from WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) for unfortunate stray dogs without homes in poorer nations.
In many poorer parts of the world, stray dogs are abundant amongst populations; alone abandoned, without compassionate owners, without shelter, adequate food and care. These stray dogs are forced to roam the streets and scourge for scraps to survive, and to find shelter in poor conditions to keep warm and stay alive.
Often riddled with sickness, these poor unfortunate dogs are seen as 'vermin' and an ultimate annoyance by uncaring locals who treat them as such; and as a result cruelly do whatever they wish with them, which may include selling them to be slaughtered for the barbaric and horrific fur trade.
Please support WSPA's vital campaign field work in giving these beautiful, homeless and unfortunate dogs a loving home, and controlling stray dog populations.
