Thank you Jbdkz1 for filling me in on the details! It was thoughtful of Life-Like/Walthers to provide adapters to make it compatible with other manufacturer's products. I have used Bachmann's Easy Track for Holiday layouts & roadbed track is ideal for that; as well as the beginning hobbyist.

That is awesome. I was thinking of adding a slot car racing set on the outside of the tracks on my train table. I posted a video of my track that is named - 8x4 Ho Scale Train Table Layout - The reason I had thought of putting it on the outside was incase the cars go flying they wont take out the buildings and scenery.

Jbdkz, I think TrainwreckMaster is asking if the road/rail crossing that is now sold by Walthers is a former Life Like brand product; with the Power-Loc roadbed track with Power-Loc connectors at each end of the roadbed? Road/rail crossings used to have standard HO train track without any roadbed - like the ones Tyco & Aurora used to offer.

Is this the TYCO slot car/train set from the early 1970's? I remember seeing this, or something like it in the J.C.Penny's & Sears Wish Book Catalogues when I was a kid during that era!!!! Very nice layout indeed!!!!!

@punkrockpub No, this is a Walthers slot car set connected to a Walthers train set. The Walthers slot car and train set are very similar to the Tyco slot car and train sets I had in the 1970's (slot car track and train track are not interchangeable with Tyco but I beleive Walthers has a slot car and train track connector that allows you to interconnect Walters and Tyco track).

i have a question.do you need a power link adapter to connect your power loc track to the crossing???????

@trainwreckmaster
I am not sure if I understand your question, I hade to purchase a special Walthers Life-Like Set and Train Set Combo Intersection track (Part No. 433-9149) to connect my slot car race set to my layout.
