Bodybuilders risk developing diabetes comes from taking Insulin, not steroids. And just one overdose of insulin can kill you. Roids do increase bad cholesterol, but most of the deaths attributed to steroids are from a combination of much more dangerous drugs. Insulin, Diuretics, Synthol, IGF, T3, all are potentially more dangerous than steroids. People continually call any performance enhancing drug a steroid.

@Deutschland8806 diabetes actually does kill you. It increases your risk of macrovascular disease, ie. heart attack, stroke and peripheral vascular disease, and also leads to microvascular damage, ie. retinopathy, nephropathy, and peripheral neuropathy.

@dam0cles1 No really it's not the roids it was his excessive consumpton of red meats and poor diet...The steriods may have effected him but it was his piss poor diet...and im sure he took more than just steriods...It's like having diabetes YOU almost never die of diabetes you usu die from something else...plus he had a heart condition and still ate poor.
