Daniel Radcliffe talks The Woman in Black, horror movies, Hammer Films, Acting

A day after the release of the teaser trailer to The Woman in Black, actor Daniel Radcliffe discussed the elements of the supernatural thriller, and what in particular drew him to the film: the character-driven story. Dan also commented on when he realised the connection The Woman in Black had to the Harry Potter series, in that his on-screen father Adrian Rawlins (James Potter in the saga), portrayed Arthur Kipps in the 1989 adaptation of the Susan Hill novel. The Harry Potter actor also commented on his future career, and how he knew that he will forever be attached to his famous fictional counterpart; something he had long-since accepted. When I watched the trailer, I didn't see Harry Potter. And I realized, this guy can really act. I think his greatest limitation will be his height, but it didn't stop Alan Ladd (5' 6"), Humphrey Bogart (5' 8"), or Tom Cruise (5' 7").

@Odileyy Same for me. But then again i thought it would be impossible to look at Sean Connery after James Bond but he blends in nicely in other movies.

Seems like a great film! Two of my favorite things in one movie, Dan Radcliffe and being scared half to death.
