Here's the deal, as I understand it. In 1970,there was an album put out by the unscrupulous "Screaming" Lord Sutch, . Appaerntly, he took the master tapes and put his vocals over the tracks that Page, et. al. had already recorded. There must be a way of editing out the vocals with the masters, but perhaps they are long gone. If anyone has any further details, I would love to hear them Thanks.
