One month ago I finally got the nerve to get my first colonic. It was an incredible experience and I recommend it highly. I've had 4 more since that time and we are working on getting my digestive system eliminating regularly. It's working. I recommend this to everyone!

actually that is not at all true. colonics, true high colonics, get at things fiber can't touch. as i mentioned above, i've been on many sides of this issue: as a registered nurse, as a patient, and as a medical herbalist and as the private client of a few different colon hydrotherapists. there is much the layperson is not taught [let alone the majority of medical personnel in the west]. check out the photos in the book i recommended to "einherjerelite" above if you ever want to know more.

wowza! glad that cleared you out. additionally putrefied, rubbery 'stuck-em' glued to the colon over years is what the colonics ultimately are going for. check out the photos in dr. jensen's bowel care guide book. you will be amazed at how many pounds of black, brown or green 'rubber' can come out after a series of treatments. i'm a nurse & have also been a patient - and enemas, for instance, have nothing on true high colonics. [don't eat right before viewing the photos].

when i was in boot camp, i didn't crap for like...4 weeks or something. They told me to drink 8 (1 quart) canteens of water that day.
It worked...

think that high-fibre intake (more than RDA) is great for taking out a lot of junk, but fibre intake should be increased gradually.

Sorry, colonics just flush out stuff you would poop out on your own a few days later. It doesn't "dislodge" stuff that's stuck there for years, no matter how nasty you think the appearance is. Want a natural, easier, cheaper colonic? Drastically increase your fiber intake for a day.
