My garage fire alarm system now has a heat decector,a sounder and now a manul call point.

Just as a matter of interest how do you wire in a series? Im looking to do this myself you see just for the pure fact im trying to set up my business in the garage and don't want to have to spend hundreds of pounds on a fire panel, but don't want to call in an engineer but have no skill what so ever in doing any of this, Please help? I would not use this for a real set up , it is only a demo of the sounder , detector, and call point , use fire ratted wire , pannel and have it all wired in propely, and do it the proper way if u want to be safe , series is in a string or in a line conficiration , you wire from the dc adaptor to the heat detector,to the sounder back to the dc adaptor and then wire the call point in parrallel with the heat detector.

i simpley just wired the the sounder in sieries with the dectector and wired the call point parellel with the detector.

Yes indeed your quite right I should definately do it the correct way and will probably do so, however thankyou very much for your description of how to wire in parrelel as it is very much apreciated and please don't worry I don't hold you in anyway responcible for my actions.
