This is how it used to be practiced on the mainland. Harn Chintong was part of the Nanjing martial arts college before the war. Now there is Wushu on the mainland, and very little of the original Kuoshu.
I saw this tape at Sifu Jason Tsou's house in Alhambra Ca. in 1980. The Tan Tui is not Shaolin but Islamic Long Fist and may date back as much as 500 years.Sifu Tsou was shown this tape by an American who had studied from Han Chin Tang and recorded the original tape there. That tape was played on Sifu Tsou's living room wall at a party that I attended with my family.Originally silent, the tape was copied with a super 8 camera. The party including my baby daughter are audible in the background.
