  • try change the first chord "C" to "Cmaj7" in the piano sounds very good and in the guitar too but less

  • You know the chords fine. Just lift your fingers off the strings every second beat. It dampens the ringing and gives the choppy jazzy sound. Find some inversions of the chords in the 5th position, where they are easier to play in 'C'. Very nice. Lucky you just starting out.
