Billions of chickens are killed every single day to feed YOU! Billions of cows and pigs are killed every single day, to feed you. Are they killed humanely? Do they lead a good life? No. And yet you concentrate on 1000 whales being killed a year. Save the chickens first! they suffer while they live too, not only in death. I wish people would stop trying to save the cute animals first, instead of trying to make all lives - no matter if its a cute cub or a nasty insect - good and "humane".

But i don´t think that stopping whale hunting is a better agenda than stopping pig farming and pig slaughtering.

Pigs are crammed into tiny cages and keept there all tehir lives just in order to be excecuted later and used as meat.

At least the whales live freely untill we kill them.

@vwunderful There are about 100,000 - 500,000 pilot whales in the world. Of these only about 500 are killed each year. The pilot whales is the most normal kind of whale in all of the world and they can manage to reproduce much faster than getting killed. They never suffer when killed and die within 1 - 2 seconds when first cut into them.

@vwunderful It's not like we kill a huge percentage of the whales. There will always be a great population which will reproduce. And are you believing everything you see? The Cove isn't reliable as it's opposing the killing, it's not looking at it from a neutral perspective. The whales contain much mercery. However, when only eaten a few times a year, it's safe. It's corresponding to eating fish many times.

I mean I understand wat ur saying but did u also know that whales and dolphins have the highest lvls of mercury in them... The suggested amount in sea food for humans is .4 ppm whale and dolphin meat has 2000 ppm which is high toxic and could give u mercury poisoning which is very dangerous for pregnant women search minimata disease that's what mercury poisoning does u will be disgusted

i disagree... whales dont reproduce very quickly so you have to monitor the amount that you kill

@vwunderful When they reach the beach it's pretty much chaos and they've got no idea what's going on. They're stressed, yes, but I don't think that they know that their family members are being killed. And besides, I've got it hard to believe that they have that kind of feeling. But other animals suffer from stress all their lives and see their family members die (even if I don't believe that they care). So isn't it those animals you should help?
