that 79 TA must be a 79 SE 4 speed (400 pontiac w72 performance pkg) it burns the tires with easy 220 HP and 320 lb/torque , S & B was a 77 model on 1st movie and 1980 turbo in 2nd movie, nice car nice shots being chased by that 78 interceptor Z...

180HP doesn't go far these days, that is if you had the 6.6L in it. Came stock from the factory like that. HP died around 1972. Sad, very sad.

@Vaportrail69 it is smokey and the bandit.... 400% better than the dukes. there is more than 1 franchise that uses good looking fast cars.
