@Lazarosaliths Well you're school is probably wrong then. There were only 300 Spartans, but around 8,000 other Greeks, they were betrayed by that man, who told the Persians about a pass that would lead around the back of the Greeks. The others left, but Spartans stayed.

@MrTySweet well actually that happened , there where not monsters , and the army of spartans was more than 300 , anyway they were actualu betrayed buy a guy named efialtis , and lost the battle while thousand of arrows blocked the sun . Also spartans always were war loving people and ,where the best warriors around at their age. All that is what i know from reading history in school, but hey they can be wrong!

Nobody ever said this movie was historically correct. In my opinion that would have made for a worse movie. It wasn't made to be a movie with a good plot or anything like that. It was meant just to be a good action film. I mean doesn't the fact that its unrealistic make it cooler. none of this stuff happens in real life, but thats why its awesome.
