Astronomy Simplified (#2): Behavior of Planet Earth

Enjoy this lecture marked #2, I hope it gives all of you much much to think about, and some arguments from non-design ;)

Clarifications:
1) Earth/Sun Movement:
The movement of the earth around the sun as an ellipse HAS a reason - the ellipse is caused mainly by the forces from the other planets on the earth. When I spoke of "making no sense" I meant in terms of a perfect creation of the earth. If the earth is the center of creation (in term of the intention of god's attention), why create such a changing (slightly changing!) unbalanced rotation..? If the earth is god's intended creation, why not create mars just a tinsy bit farther away, so that the earth actually WILL act perfectly? Hm. God works in mysterious ways.

2) Polarity of the earth:
The terms "north"/"south" make no sense without the polarity of the earth. If you stand on the southern hemisphere and face the southern pole, your instinctive "north" is our defined 'south'. Space has no directions to it, mankind is the one defining those directions; those directions were mainly defined by the polarity of the earth. By a compass' reaction to that polarity.

So please don't tell me "god meant north with no relation to polarity". It makes absolutely no sense, unless God only thought the middle east and europe exist, or if he only wanted his "message" to get to the upper hemisphere not including America. Make sense, please.

There's an explaination for why the mantles are highly oxydized with interior oceans. Had Earth had been formed from cold stone, with water within and without, just as it is today, there would have been plenty of free roaming O2.

You should really read a bit about physics101, Chemistry and geology, because your claims are just lacking facts. I might take the opportunity to do a video about some of them, but until then, I recommend you (and aonyone else reading this) go do some REAL reading about what physics, geology and chsmistry are "saying" about those things. They *all* have answers.

Other than that, your religious part is also quite lacking, but that's another point.. either the bible's true or it isn't, either God's words are literal or they're false, you can't just play both sides. Firmaments are firmaments, not "whoops, it doesn't work like that in reality, so it must mean something else" firmaments. There are no water above nothing -- the atmosphere contains water, but it's FAR from *being* water, or *having* water "above it".

That, btw, isn't the only weird, insensible or false claim the biblical text makes about the shape, form and age of the earth and the stars. I'd expect a text influenced by God to not only be more accurate, but be more revealing in that aspect. We seem to have to do much more "reinterpretation" work to make it fit reality than actually make new discoveries by reading the text.

i find perfection in imperfection. things are suppose to be imperfect. it balances it's self out that way. what is concidered imperfect makes it perfect in another way. ex- the tilt causing seasons. if the earth was just one season everywhere things would be a lot more differant than they are now.. we would have no migratory birds aswell as lot other animals. so thanks to that slight imperfection we have perfection in other places. it's a balanced diet lol!!

Well, yeah, good point about the tilt - but what about the wobble?

BTW - my intention wasn't to push anti-religion at all, I respect religion and belief. My point was more to show that the uber-fanatics use dogmatic propaganda.. we should just make sure we think things through and not just accept on the merit of charisma.

But I see your point.. I still think the beauty is in the apparant indisign, which is why I made this video :) In my eyes, the proof of natural-occurences is just amazing.
