@blackblurable I know, sorry - but most of the solos I can remember how to play are in D (Stabwound, Epitaph)... Diminished to B and Ignominious both start off in C, but I can't think of any that are in E. It makes everything easier playing in the key you're tuned to - just start with a standard minor arpeggio on the 17th or 19th fret and work from there.

@DjentMeister The key of E, not the tuning E buddy. I know they play in D. Maybe I heard wrong but I swear I heard the key of E. It's like if someone said hey play some from G minor or something to that effect

@blackblurable What cheepo said - the key defines the root note. Most Necrophagist solos are in D (as they tune a step down from standard).

@metalradio9 Holy shit fucking god almighty bro. Their shit is pretty fucking sweet. Their newest album is awesome. Dude's guitar playing is ridiculous and the drums sound incredible. Thanks man. I came buckets to the song Chaos of Forms, although I have to give a little credit to the bj at the time but I had my earphones on listening and I exploded like I haven't came in months!
