This person's music was so central to the guiding forces of my life. I first saw him at Western Michigan University with Peter Robinson, and the sound they generated was so powerful, and only exceeded by his miraculous voice. I do like best when many instruments are playing full tilt and accentuating his vocals, but this tape is a wonderful tribute to him. Thank you so much.

I wrote the whole story about this evening when I went to meet Shawn for the first time and played this same Gibson Dove guitar with him, backstage- for our eyes only, and I got to spend time with a musical great.
