i have the same problem. docking station, dual screen, i7. i called lenovo, they told me to use the warranty to get a replacement. as far as i know, it might be the problem of the cooling unit (not just the fan, but also the passive elements).

Let me guess, is it the model with nvidia graphics chip but without optimus? If so, same problem here, just on a i5-T410.
