CHICAGO -- In patients with treatment-naive advanced renal cell carcinoma, treatment with sunitinib (Sutent) more than doubled progression-free survival compared with interferon alfa.

    What is the financial relationship of Dr Figlin with Pfizer, the owner of sutent? This is a must disclosure which a competent reporter would have reported!

    Please understand the business of drugs and disease and importance of transparency. It does not mean difference or issues, but its an important diclosure.

    Also, when talking "survival" median, what does this represent? Does it mean progression free survival or overall survival? Info yes, Ads no
