Shows successful control and treatment of Emerald Ash Borer since 2002 at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. Video reports how the 87 acre estate site treated the ash trees for EAB and their results. The recommended treatment shown is annual applications of the insecticide Pointer in areas with heavy infestations or in the curative stages and the use of it every other year in preventive situations. Pointer, an Imidacloprid product from ArborSystems that is labeled by the EPA for two-year control, is used along with various fertilizers and root stimulants to keep the trees healthy.
