This is how I go fishing.

not a rescue, rather a common exfiltration method. also chinook pilots are fucking boss.
-
that's some scary shit

@2Phast4Rocket They would be no Delta etc if it wasn't for the SAS. SFs = Secrecy, I know more about SEALs than I do my bumhole thanks to documentaries.. OPSEC anyone? The 'seals' on the docs are traitors to their men.
-
anyone else get scared that the whole thing would just fall into the water and sink?
-
@jjhaynes23456 Sorry it isnt letting me put up the link. but type into google, Special Air Service WIKI its the first link. Enjoy.

@2Phast4Rocket Ouch I'd watch mate you've opened a whole box of arguments here, The U.S special forces were derived from British counterparts, i.e. the SAS, SBS, SRR, 3 Commando, Royal Marines to name a few. Please Read the section 'Influence on other special forces' section on the wikipedia page of SAS here it is.

you're all wrong, this was conducted by 160th S.O.A.R. (A) and its a training video...and the guy on the #2 side of the aircraft is SFC ****
-
Hey! they stole this from teh intro to Callof Duty: Modern Warfare 3! jk lmao CoD is retarded
-
Yes this is the SAS. The SEALS and everybody else know that SEALS are bad asses and don't need to publicize their exploits on Youtube. Only lesser special forces like the SAS need to lower themselves to showing off to make themselves almost as big as the SEALS.
Thats not the seals, its the british SBS

Cool! I'm a former US Army Chinook pilot and I totally forgot how loud it is back there by the ramp! This is an amazing video, by the way. I never did this but I did land on the Rhine River in Germany once!
