NDSU Virtual Cell Animations Project animation 'Transcription'. For more information please see http://vcell.ndsu.edu/animations

Transcription is a vital process in biological lifeforms. It is through this process that the biological roadmap encoded in a strand of DNA is used to produce a complementary RNA copy. The RNA can then go on to help produce the proteins and enzymes that power living organisms.

  • Did anyone else feel awkward when that DNA polymerase mounted the TFIIB on the TATA box?

  • haha!

I come from Germany and I didn't understand this process at school till now.

  • thumbs up if you have a test tommorow and this just saved your ass

  • where is TFIIC? "/

  • @YamiYami17 The problem in those videos is a lack of understanding of middle school concepts. Also what is wrong with your spelling?

  • @Ladylyla Ok let's say we came from allians and naturel selection is a plausible explanation , can you tell me how did you believe in naturel selection when we have this probleme : /watch?v=A7kJP08fF9w&feature=channel_video_title

    or this : /watch?v=Y5uEyChhiFk

  • @YamiYami17 I don't want to live on this planet anymore because of idiots like you. Evolution has nothing to do with any chemical soup, evolution is how life forms change when thay already exists.. it has nothing to do with abiogenesis. And what has binary fission to do with this? Really i would love to educate idiots like you but i have to study for my molecular biology exam.

  • @Ladylyla From a chemical soup lol and it learned binary fission by itself, in fact an all or non event like binary fission is by definition a non evolving process, you can't evolve fission throug generations, in fact you can't evolved it because without i you can't have generations ... so how DNA and binary fission evolved without generations :P

  • @YamiYami17 ofcourse it evolved :D

  • This did evolve ? anyone saying yes ???
