In the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, Delaware County Council requested that Lt. Governor Jim Cawley visit the County as officials assess damage caused by the hurricane, particularly in Darby and Collingdale boroughs.
County Council joined Lt. Governor Cawley and officials from the boroughs in touring damaged properties and planning the assessment of damage to help businesses and homeowners in the recovery process.
The lieutenant governor toured properties, spoke to business owners and residents, and confered with County officials who updated the press on hurricane recovery.
