Strange that Beth is not is the final bar scene yet she appears @ 6:49 behind Matthew. Newsradio has many continuity mistakes...who knows? They might have done it on purpose.

Back in Waugh's day, these were not sins; just the way everyone was brought up. Moral verities are awfully flexible.
Waugh was a lot more grumpy than Bill, anyway.
